In all the years I have lived in Belgium, I have only known sunny Pentecost Sundays, until now… What can I say? Climate change?

Despite the rain and gloominess yesterday, D and I enjoyed ourselves at the Sinksen in Kortrijk. We went in the afternoon, ate oliebollen, drank beers, watched performances, walked a lot, ate an all-you-can-eat sushi dinner, and returned home in the late evening! 🙂

One has to be a bit thankful for these fun events. Admittedly, the virus is still making its rounds, thus we have not entered the post-pandemic era yet. Nevertheless, as vaccinated and boosted people, we do need to live our lives. Take what is offered, and make the best out of it.
