D and I biked to the Gavers yesterday afternoon. The event was called Gavers Dag previously. I have no idea why they changed the name.

The weather was not so great, so like last year, the turn out was pretty low.

D and I did enjoy ourselves though. We watched some people snorkelling, then saw wild birds getting freed, went to little stands to taste leftover rescue food, listened to bird songs, and checked out some world class taxidermy.

We did not stay to drink at the café this time. There is always next time. The Gavers is so close to home it is literally our backyard…
