Light Lockdown

The Belgian Covid-19 numbers has not looked good since the middle of September. Therefore, as of this Monday, we went into a light lockdown.

This entails the closing of cafés and restaurants for a month, a nationwide curfew from midnight to five in the morning, a bubble of one direct contact outside of one’s household, and no sales of alcohol after eight in the evening.

I can live with this because it means not getting infected nor infecting others unintentionally. One has to remember that the final objective here is to be well and stay alive. We cannot go out, enjoy restaurant meals, experience wonderful things in a crowd if we are dead or very sick!
