This morning, I decided that I am finally going to try out the onion soup recipe from a French bistro cookbook. I bought enough onions two Saturdays ago. There is no way D and I will be able to finish them, while they are still good, given the rate that this household consumes onions…

Looking at my finish product, I know I should have browned the onions a while longer. But oh well, you learn as you go along. Practice makes perfect. I already can make the almost perfect chocolate mousse. The perfect French onion soup should not be too much of a challenge for me. 😉
