Germany is heading into a stricter lockdown starting this Wednesday by closing its schools and non-essential businesses. And this is to be implemented a week before Christmas. If the Germans are that scared… the rest of us should be on our tippy toes and find out why!

This evening, the Dutch prime minister will address his nation. The Netherlands might be following Germany’s foot steps, because its number of new cases have increased exponentially in the past weeks. Should we be really worry in Belgium? Our daily deaths are double or triple in comparison to the Dutch people.

At this end, I am relieved that D and I have postponed Christmas Eve dinner with the parents. There is simply no enjoyment in being rebellious right now, especially when the two older people might be vaccinated as soon as next month.
