The water pond project has been going on for a couple of days now. There has been a lot of digging going on, and there shall be a few more of that in the next days. A do-it-yourself project like this is proof that D and I are still capable of taking on physically demanding home improvement tasks. Currently, the visible progress of the pit serves as a sort of motivation. Of course, there is always the possibility of hiring someone to complete the work, but I think we got this. At an accumulated age of almost 100 years, damn well we got this!
