Temperature is almost at freezing point today. But that did not stop me from tidying up the backyard a little. I trimmed the borders at one side of the fence, sowed poppy seeds for next year, cleared some fallen leaves from the vegetable patch, and planted eight endive roots which I brought indoors.

Throughout the winter months, I shall continue with small scale yard works as long as the grounds are dry and not frozen.
