Our South-facing living room is really an ideal spot for plants. The butter lettuce seeds I sowed in ice cream containers have germinated and grown so quickly. But because outdoor temperatures are still too low, I may not plant these out just yet. In order to solve the problem of young lettuce plants overgrowing their containers, I have been harvesting the bigger leaves for consumption. So far, so good. Nothing has died on me yet. 😛
