There was still a layer of snow on the ground this morning. So, I walked carefully to a shop in the city centre to have passport photos taken. Less than ten minutes later, I walked out of the shop with eight brand new photos. I will probably only need a couple of these for my upcoming administrative matters.

I then walked to the weekly market to buy two eierkoeken for D. There were hardly anyone! Maybe it was late, maybe people were afraid of falling on icy grounds and thus chose to stay indoors.

I like snowy landscapes. They are pretty to look at. I also do not mind the cold. But I do have a fear of walking on slippery surfaces…
