This afternoon, I spent about ten minutes clearing out unwanted plants from the backyard. The weeds; consisting of dandelions, lamb lettuces, misplaced poppy plants, and many unknowns; filled up an entire bucket. If I consistently remove a bucketful of weeds everyday, I shall have a pretty decent lawn by June. Just to be clear though, I really do not need the lawn to look like a golfing turf. In fact, the inner hippy was quite prepared to have it go wild. However, we do live in the suburbs and have neighbours who like to colour inside the lines.
