This afternoon, D and I went to De Karper in Zulte to pick up our Christmas Eve’s meals. We know the restaurant from our visits to Gent Smaakt! and have always wanted to dine there. What a lovely location it was, next to the River Leie, an old church, and criss-crossed by quiet walking and biking paths.

There will be quite some interesting coordination and work involved in getting these meals onto the table this evening. I’m excited!
